By the time ”No Strings Attached” was released, the song ”It´s Your Favorite” from Jimmy’s debut album started to become a hit on streaming services. On YouTube , Jimmy’s ”Rapid Eye Moment” also from his first album has plays of over 1.2 million.

Jimmy´s recordings contain multitrack instrumental songs with expressive guitar arrangements and brilliant guest musicians. The core of all songs is the acoustic guitar mixed and enhanced with percussion, strings and lots of additional guitars and atmospheric musical landscapes. The arrangements and production of the songs are pop inspired. Jimmy leaves the fusion genre unexplored and brings his inspiration in songwriting from artists like Paul Simon and John Martyn. Live, Jimmy appears solo on stage, with his guitar effects and looper to accompany his original technique and percussive trade mark using a ring on his left thumb striking the back of the guitar neck.

In August 2015 Jimmy was signed to be the new endorsee of the world’s most prominent guitar pick up manufacturer DiMarzio. A promo tour for the DiMarzio Black Angel series and the latest album ”No Strings Attached” was recently completed in the US. Related youtube material will be posted by DiMarzio in January 2016.
